Webilns GST billing software tax invoice

Built around how GST actually works

Not a billing app with a tax field bolted on. Place of supply, input credit, credit notes and HSN summaries are part of the core.

Compliant tax invoices

Every bill carries your GSTIN, a continuous invoice series, place of supply and the full tax breakup a GST invoice needs.

  • GSTIN on every invoice
  • Continuous invoice series
  • Place of supply logic
  • Bill of supply for exempt sales

HSN and SAC mapping

Assign an HSN or SAC code once per product and it flows into every invoice and tax report from then on.

  • Per product HSN / SAC
  • Bulk code assignment
  • Code shown on invoice
  • HSN summary report

CGST, SGST and IGST

The correct split is applied automatically from the customer's state, so intra state and inter state sales are never mixed up.

Customer GSTIN records

Store a GSTIN against each business customer so B2B invoices are complete the first time.

Filing week

One export instead of three days of spreadsheets

Sales register, HSN summary and purchase register come out of the same data you already billed on. No re-entry, no reconciling a counter notebook against a spreadsheet the night before filing.

Frequently asked questions

What makes an invoice GST compliant?+

A GST tax invoice needs your GSTIN, a continuous serial number, the invoice date, customer details with GSTIN for B2B sales, the HSN or SAC code for each item, the taxable value, the applicable CGST and SGST or IGST rate and amount, and the place of supply. Webilns fills all of these automatically once your business and product details are set up.

Does Webilns decide between CGST/SGST and IGST on its own?+

Yes. The split is worked out from your registered state and the customer's place of supply. A sale inside your state is split into CGST and SGST, and a sale to another state is charged as IGST.

Can I export data for GSTR filing?+

You can export a monthly sales register with a B2B and B2C split, an HSN wise summary and a purchase register, in CSV or Excel. Most accountants can take these straight into a filing tool or the GST portal.

How do I handle a sales return under GST?+

Raise a credit note linked to the original invoice. Webilns returns the stock, adjusts the customer ledger and reflects the reversal in the tax reports for that period.

Do I need GST billing software if I am not registered yet?+

No, and you can still use Webilns. Bills go out as a regular invoice or bill of supply. When you register, add your GSTIN and tax rates and the same system starts producing tax invoices.

What does GST billing cost with Webilns?+

GST invoicing, HSN mapping and tax reports are included in plans starting at ₹1,000 per year. There is no per invoice charge and no commission on sales.
